Meet Alisa in Her Very Own Wonderland

Alisa Tovmanyan, an Angeleno, and Los Angeles-based fashion designer, began her journey into fashion at a young age. Guided by her grandfather’s illustrations and her grandmother’s sewing tips, Alisa’s love for texture and color grew into a passion for designing bold, feminine clothing that celebrates individuality.

After studying fashion design at Woodbury University and showcasing her first collection at Vancouver Fashion Week in 2015, Alisa founded Tovmali—a ready-to-wear line that fuses sophistication with playful, contemporary elegance. Her designs are known for their intricate details, flattering silhouettes, and colorful aesthetic that speaks to women’s unique personalities.

Born and raised in LA, Alisa’s designs reflect the vibrancy of her hometown, but she also understands the importance of other cities. That's why she created a line of city-inspired tops, celebrating places like Los Angeles, New York, and Miami. Through Tovmali, Alisa empowers women to express their identity and style by representing the cities that define them.

“I want women to feel as confident and joyful in my designs as they do in their own skin,” says Alisa. "Fashion is a way to express who you are, and with Tovmali, every woman can wear her city with pride.”
